Ironman

So the big news in the movie/comic crossover is Ironman. At first, I was a bit put off by the talent they picked, until I started thinking about it.
An alcoholic, arrogant, intelligent good-looking guy flying around in a suit?
Sounds like any child-actor I know!
And Lo! Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark! Talk about life imitating art. I can only imagine 3 reasons for his taking the role. a) he looks like Tony a bit. b) He likes comic books c) he can relate to Tony’s life.
Personally, I hope it’s a bit of all of them. They say you only write what you know. And I know for a fact that acting works that way.
Here’s hoping it a good emotional exercise for the ol’ boy!
